We are delighted to be a part of this incredible UK tour with world masters of flamenco Mercedes Ruiz and Santiago Lara!
Mercedes breathes in flamenco, feels through flamenco, it is a way of thinking, of feeling, of living.
She is a sensitive soul who has made dance her particular form of expression, intimately and inextricably joining technique, style, emotion and dance expression.
In each show she undertakes the great challenge of creating from within, always from a deep process of exploring the essential codes of flamenco, masterfully combining tradition, audacity, elegance and excellence in flamenco.
Santiago Lara is currently respected as one of the most important names in the new generation of Spanish guitarists. Santiago, producer, composer and musical director, has on the market five albums as a soloist: “El Sendero de lo impossible” (2008), “Sentimientos Nuevos” (2012), “Flamenco Tribute to Pat Metheny” (2017) “La Guitarra en el tiempo” (2019) and the recent “Your Song on my Guitar” (2021).
Regular collaborator on world tours with Mercedes Ruiz, for whom he has composed the music for her 11 shows, winning important awards such as the Critics' Prize at the Jerez Festival on several occasions.
